Assessment combines practical observation and theoretical testing, ensuring competency under national standards.
Level 3 Working as a Member of a Rescue & Recovery Team in Confined Spaces (6160 08)
This 3-day course is aimed at workers who may need to lead or participate in emergency rescue and recovery operations in confined spaces, this course teaches safe rescue techniques, casualty management, and coordination under pressure. It’s essential for fire service personnel, response teams, and site managers in industries like construction, utilities, and manufacturing.
Level 2 Award in entrant and entry controller for confined spaces (6160 09)
This two-day course trains delegates to work and supervise safely in medium-risk confined spaces, such as sewers, tanks, or tunnels where ventilation and escape routes exist but are limited. It’s recognised as the Water Industry Standard, ensuring consistent, high-quality training accepted across UK utilities. Participants must be 18 or older, medically fit, and able to use a full body harness and safety gear.
